TOBACCO: |
|
 |
Yes you can grow tobacco . . .
legally, honest.
I bought three different types of tobacco seeds for £10 and of course being
the impatient person that I am I planted some at the wrong time just to see
what happened.
Well bless me two actually started to grow, this was back in late September
2007.
Cultivated indoors it's doing nicely thank you very much. |

|
 |
Now confusion is my middle name
(strange I know) and I don't have a clue as to which variety of the 3 seed
types this version came from but I've proved it works and so come springtime
I shall be scattering my seeds akimbo (a type of Japanese shirt?)
. . . so watch this space |

February 16th:
Of the two sets of seeds planted, this is
the smaller variety of the two, which I shall call . . . Tobacco Two. as you
can see its a bit on the spindly side probably because up until know it was
grown inside, well now its time to face the big wide world so . . grow up!
(please) |

26th February
This is tobacco plant One, the indoor
version, I really should try and find out which variety it is.

April 2nd Ok I admit it, I've ignored Tobacco plant one and to be honest its probably best I did for it looks uncannily like its about to flower!
For the record, its now 42 inches high. |

April 8th Who'd have though something like tobacco would have such a lovely flower? |
 |
May 22
The last flower and time to cut it down I guess, it has grown to lanky and
looks feeble. |
 |
I left one possible growth at the
bottom, just in case life springs eternal? |
|
 |
May 24
Tobacco plant two has never shown any
enthusiasm . . . ever |
 |
Until today when I noticed this, it's
going to flower. |
 |
What a lovely cluster! |
