My good friend Charles in Arkansas sent me this picture the other day of his experimental up-side-down hanging garden. The idea crossed my mind last year

Here we go then.
The neck was easy enough, just needed three hands to hold it in place.
Having an oblong bottle made thinks a little tricky at times . . .
. . . and my wire twisting abilities leaves a little to be desired!
A test hang, well it points down at least.
The neck plug was an inspiration, foam pipe lagging proved ideal.
It's up and holding. I had some concern the wire wouldn't take the weight but it wasn't that heavy . . . yet
That's one done, I'll give it a couple of weeks for the weather to warm up a bit more and look out for some more interesting containers perhaps.
